Verse #142 of 220
Good morning friends, and welcome to this new day. As we step into July 11, 2026, the world around us feels heavy with questions. News cycles bring fresh worries about the economy, health concerns that linger for loved ones, and the quiet uncertainties that sit in our own hearts about what tomorrow might hold.
Yet into all of this Jesus speaks words that have echoed for centuries: "Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last." In Revelation He reminds us that nothing we face today is outside His loving gaze. He was there at the very beginning of creation and will be there at the very end of all things.
Think about the small fears that wake us at night or the larger ones that press on our minds during the day. Maybe it is a child struggling in school, a job that feels unsteady, or the ache of watching the world change so quickly. Jesus does not dismiss these concerns. Instead He draws near and says He holds the whole story in His hands.
When we remember that He is both first and last, our present moment gains new peace. The middle chapters we are living right now, with all their twists and turns, are already known to Him. He walks with us through every ordinary hour and every unexpected storm.
So today let us breathe a little easier. Let us carry hope into our conversations, our work, and our prayers. Jesus is not surprised by anything we are facing, and He promises to be with us all the way through.
