Verse #036 of 220
Hello friends, and happy May 20, 2026. As spring unfolds around us with longer days and fresh growth, many of us are stepping into our routines carrying quiet worries about work, family, and the road ahead.
Today's verse from 1 Chronicles 28:20 gently calls us to go to work without fear or discouragement. These words were first spoken to someone facing an enormous responsibility, yet they still speak directly to our lives today.
Perhaps you are heading into a demanding job where expectations feel high, or you are balancing remote work with caring for loved ones at home. Some are navigating economic pressures or uncertain job markets that can make each morning feel heavier than the last. In all these moments the invitation remains the same: we do not have to carry the weight alone.
When we remember that God is with us in every meeting, every deadline, and every simple act of service, courage begins to replace anxiety. Our daily tasks become opportunities to trust rather than sources of dread.
So today, take a deep breath before you begin. Offer your efforts with hope, knowing small faithful steps matter more than we can see. Reach out to a coworker or friend who might need the same reminder. Together we can face whatever comes with steady hearts.
May this day bring you peace in your work and joy in the journey.
