Fear Not 220

It's the same joy that filled the hearts of the Apostles after the Resurrection, transforming their fear into bold proclamation. Think of St. Augustine, that great Early Church Father, who reflected on this very truth in his Confessions. He wrote of how, after years of searching in vain for happiness in worldly pursuits, he found true, unassailable joy in God's embrace: 'You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.'
